Economic Outlook.

On December 12th, 2017 Omani French Friendship Association – OFA in collaboration with the Economic Department of the Embassy of France organized at the Crowne Plaza Muscat OCEC (Oman Convention & Exhibition Center) an event on the macro and financial outlook for 2018. The event titled “2018 Regional Economic Outlook: stepping up for future challenges” aimed at presenting the perspectives and main risks for Oman and the GCC economies in 2018. The event brought together CFO and CEO from large national and international companies and banks. Two complementary presentations made by Mr Amine JAOUI, Head of Sovereign Coverage at Société Générale Corporate and Investment Banking and Head of Business Development for the bank in the Middle East and Mrs Caroline BOLLE, Group Head of Institutional and Investment Banking in Bank Muscat provided the audience with consistent and very useful information.

Mr Amine Jaoui opened the conference by presenting the challenges and opportunities for GCC Sovereigns in a new economic paradigm. Dr Caroline Bolle presented the new frontiers of fundraising for Omani corporates in the changing economic environment.
