Muscat – H E Roland Dubertrand, France’s Ambassador to the sultanate held a meeting to announce the details of Gout de France at the French Embassy on Tuesday.
The event, which will be held worldwide on March 21, will see over 2,000 restaurants in 150 countries celebrating French cuisine. Organised by France’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Development, the event aims to showcase the French way of life and promote France as a tourist destination.
In Muscat, the event will be hosted by the InterContinental and Crowne Plaza hotels. Chefs will prepare a dinner to pay tribute to French cuisine and its ability to bring together people in a healthy and eco-friendly manner. The Gout de France menu includes a finger food, starter, main course, a cheese platter and a dessert, along with beverages.
